Corn Bread 1 1/4 C. Corn meal 1/2 teas. salt 3/4 C. flour 1 egg 1/4 C. sugar 1 C. milk 1 Tbsp. baking powder 1/4 C. oil or melted shortening Mix all together until just mixed (over stiring makes tough cornbread) Pour into a greased 8" pan and bake 425 for 20 to 25 mins.
