Are you talking about a sauce you put on Ice cream and ignite?

Like  Cherry Jubilee Sauce

1 Cup preserved, pitted Bing or other cherries

add 1/4 cup of slightly warmed brandy

set the brandy on fire.  When the flame has died down, add:

2 tablespoons kirsch (flavoring like almond or vanilla)

Serve the sauce hot over ice cream.
