All Purpose Dough (Grandma Eastin's Thanksgiving rolls) 1 pkg. of Yeast 1 Cup warm water Mix together and until dissolved. Add: 1/2 Tablespoon Salt 1 Tablespoon Sugar 3 Cups warm water 4 Cups flour(five pounds) Mix together and put in large bowl. Cover with foil. Let set (about 1 Hour.) Mixture will look bubbly. Add: 1 Cup Sugar 3 Eggs (beaten) 1 Cup Crisco Cooking Oil 6 Cups Flour (2 at a time) More flour may be necessary. Stir with a wooden spoon till not sticky and dough follows spoon around bowl. Dump Dough out on seal.(lid) Wash and grease bowl. Put dough back in bowl. Let set till dough has risen double. Pumch down. Refrigerate if setting over night. Punch down each morning. Will keep up to 2 weeks. Makes 5 dozen rolls or 3 dozen rolls and 2 dozen cinnamon rolls. Bake 400 F. Rolls 15-20 minutes and Cinnamon rolls 25-30 minutes. You will need a large bowl 12" wide / 5 1/2 " deep. Better with a lid and a wooden spoon.
